Welcome To November! // Ramblings

Happy November, Ya'll.

I meant to post a “Why I Don't Celebrate Halloween” post that I had planned. (And by planned, I mean thought about) and of course I didn't get around to posting it. Maybe next year. ;)
I'm working on getting my life back into a more orderly routine. School. Blogging. Visits. Holidays. All of it circling like a giant, threatening tornado above my head.

If you have been following my blog for a long time; or have looked back (Ah! That poll, post thingie. Ops) you might have seen that I attempted two November Challenges last year. Sad to say I'm not doing either of them. I just don't have the time. I need to devote that “extra” time to school. Uck =P Yesterday I was talking to a good guy-friend and he asked how school was and I was like, “Oh, erm, ahhh.” and he guessed, “Boring?” And I had to tell him that it was because of how far behind I was. But then he made me laugh by fake gagging when I told him I had to read the Iliad. ;)

We are out of internet at our house, so even Blogger to let me upload this barely works, so that's why there aren't any pictures in this post.

I'm sorry I dropped the ball so much on my “Year of Pink” Celebration. I read all of your Pink posts and I loved them all. Some I still need to go back on comment on; sorry about that.

My grandparents were here all week and they left yesterday. They are going up to work at the Billy Graham Center at the Cove, so we are going to meet them in North Carolina for lunch tomorrow.

Like I mentioned just a second ago; I won't be doing NaNoWriMo as one of my November Challenges. I know I don't have time, but let me tell you, it's hard. =/ I really want to. Ugh, being responsible is terrible! =P ;)

This has been a very random post. I probably won't be posting much until the 8th; that's when we get new internet.

Happy November!
~Jess

  1. Hey there Jessica! I saw your lovely comment on my blog! I make my wallpapers using PicMonkey. You're welcome to try it out for yourself if you like, but I can also just take off the big text for you as well! If you'd like a little blog redesign then I can do that too :) Let me know!

    1. CHLOE!!! You found my blog! Awesome! =D Uggghhh, your one fault. =P ;) I can't stand it. I really just don't need a 30 page long description of ancient Greek warriors bragging about their "royal birth" and of how spears graze shoulder blades and dive into stomachs, and, and....XP I know. I'm already worried about it. lol

Anyway, thank you for commenting! See ya' tomorrow!! <3

  5. Oh yeah, I hate to be behind! But I have been before so I know you feel. Reading the Iiliad wasn't too bad. I watched a lecture on it before I read it. So at least I knew what was going on for once. The version I read was shorter though. It would say stuff like, "this guy died. This other guy killed him by putting a spear in him." It was humorous but do I really need to know exactly how he died? Lol. Great post

  7. Hello Jessica! You have been nominated for two awards by me. The Book Tag and the Recognition Blog award. It is totally fine if you can't do these awards.
