Eyes On You



Once upon a time
Is said to never be.
A fairy tale, a myth.
A child's fantasy.

Happily ever after
Doesn't exist they say. 
Only in books does it reside,
In dusty pages lay.

Love at first sight,
No it can't possibly be.
Gullible people fall for it,
But never ever me.

But all of this is false,
For none of it is true.
It was no fairy tale,
When I laid eyes on you.
