It's Me Again! (And It's My Sister's Birthday!) And I Have Pictures!!!!

Hey!

    I would apologize for not writing for the last couple of days but you were all probably glad to have a break from me babbling, right? ;)  Haha, ha.  My grandparents are still here and my grandma is teaching me to crochet!  It's pretty fun!  I'm making a lap blanket, or just something to throw over you as your watching a movie, or on the computer or something.  If it doesn't look to horrible, I may give it to a older lady who lives down the road from us that Julia and I go and visit every couple of days.  Anywho, my computer still is not working, and now it is a pretty much definite that I will lose everything on there.  I have already thought of a couple of things on there that weren't backed up.  =(  *Sigh Again*  Okay, well, I didn't get on here to complain anyway!  (You are all cheering right now, correct?)  =)

     Today I am going to talk about my darling sister, Julia, because it is her birthday today.  She has officially turned 13.  I am no longer the big sister of a "little girl" any more, although I always thought of her as an equal in age anyway.  She is my best friend and playmate.  I love her to the end of the world, and back, and then around again!  =D  She is a wonderful sister, both biologically and in Christ.  I can, and do, tell her everything, and we talk constantly.  To be completely truthful, we do have our squabbles, and our arguments, but in the end we make up, usually because we have something we need to tell each other! =)  One of our biggest "things" that we tease each other about is our age, because as of today and until January, I am 14 and she is 13.  But as I turn 15 in January, I say we are closer to two years apart.  But she says, "14 - 13 = 1, so we are only one year apart."  Then I will say that 21 months apart is much closer to 24 months (2 years) then it is the 12 months (1 year.)  Anyway, I love her very, very, very, VERY much.
            If you don't have a sister, enjoy your brothers (if you have them) and stay close to your mom. (I'm also very, very close to my mother) and if you do have a sister/sisters, make sure you spend time with them and really try to listen and enjoy being with them, because they may not be there forever. 

     Okay, well, in honor of my sister, I am now going to post some pictures!!  Now, because I don't have a laptop, and thus don't have access to all the pictures of ALL the animals, I can only post from the pictures that are still on the computer stick.  So I will introduce you to the animals that I have pictures of, and later I will have an entire post about our animals!

      In this post, (Because I have the most pictures of him,) I will introduce to you our new colt (baby boy horse) Caramel! =)

Well, he is trapped normally because one side is next to his mom,

Now he is trying to go straight out, but it didn't work well enough, I guess...

Because he figured out how to nurse from behind, so that he can get away before Julia

can work with him!

Oh, Bother!

Hi!

    Well, I'm typing on a different computer then normal, sense yesterday I restarted my computer (Because it had been a while and it's good to shut it off every once in a while) and it wouldn't reboot.  So I called my dad over (He works on fixing computers and helping with problems with the systems and stuff) and he tried almost all night all this different stuff and it still wouldn't reboot.  So we let it sit during the night and try again and it still didn't boot so now, (Thankfully the warranty hadn't run out) so now we have to send it in and somebody is going to take it apart and re-install it, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose everything I had on it, =(  Thankfully I believe everything was backed up, but I am still going to have to either start over or take all of the stuff off of the back up thingie and back onto my computer.  *Sigh*

     And if that wasn't enough, today I washed my sister and I's clothes (We share a room, so we have the same laundry) and as I was pulling the clothes out of the washer, I noticed my sister's phone at the bottom of the washer.  I suppose it was in her jean pocket when I put it in the washer.  I took it apart and am letting it dry.  I don't know whether it will work or not!! 

    Sense that is all the bad news, I will now move onto the good.  My grandparents are here.  They have an RV (Fifth Wheel, actually, which means it is pulled by a truck) that they take all over the country.  They have a house in Michigan, but they are only there every couple trips.  They will be in California one week, then New Mexico for a month, then in Maine for two weeks, then they stop a their house for a week, then come and see us (In SC) then to North Dakota, etc, etc, =)  They drove to Alaska last year. =)  But they are here with us for a week, and they will be here for my sister's birthday, which is next Monday, the 28th.  Then they are going to be in NC for 3 weeks, and back for Thanksgiving, or at least some time around there.  They are part of this Christian group that goes around and helps fix up/do odd jobs around camps, churches and such.  So, they work at the campground, or camp, or church for three weeks, and then the last week of that month they can stay there free.  Well, October and November they did/are working in North Carolina, so that last week that they could stay free, they are coming and spending with us! =)

       Today a man from church came over to buy a hay rake that we had.  We had tried using it, but it was to big for our tractor.  We helped his hoist it onto his trailer.  Julia (my sister) is glad we got rid of it because one of our animals had gotten his halter stuck on it before and so she doesn't have to worry anymore.  The man has two sons that our Julia and I's age, and he brought them to help.  We took them around to see the animals.  It was nice to talk to them because even though we go to the same small church they never really talk to us.  After they left we were clarifying to my grandmother who was who and she said about the one, "Was he the one with the pretty blond hair?"  And I wanted to say yes, but I didn't want it to appear that I agreed with the adjective also! =D  So I just said, "Yes, he was the one with the blond hair." =)

      Well, we are going out tonight, and I need to go get ready.

Update/More Facts About Me!

Hello!

     Well, this was a pretty good waste of a day for me.  I slept in accidentally, and then I had trouble getting started on my day, and then I did a little school, and then I laid down, and then I had to leave to go to the library.  While I was at the library, though, I got a lot done!  It was a fall party, and my sister and I ran the "Go Fish" booth.  It was one of those games where I little kids throw the "fishing pole" over the wall and wait until they feel a "bite" and pull it up and there is a piece of candy or a pencil or something.  We have run that for many years in a row now.  Julia (my sister) was behind the wall, and I was handing out the sticks and gasping and going, "Yah!" every time they get something (big surprise.) =)  But its fun.  Most of the kids were dressed up, for Halloween.  Julia went as a cowboy (I thought she looked New Mexican) and I went dressed up as something that no one else can ever be.  Myself!  =D

     Another fact about me that I forgot is that I LOVE Beauty and the Beast!  The dancing scene and the "Beauty and the Beast" song is my most favorite song and scene from any movie. =)  And also, I love sour cream!!  On tortilla chips, on potatoes, on every kind of Mexican dish, etc.

     My internet still isn't working right, so I still can't upload pictures, but I will continue to try!

That's South Carolina For Ya'!

Howdy,

     I just wanted to quickly share a couple of interesting things about our town, which is very small and in South Carolina. 
    
     There is a restaurant in "down town" that has said on its sign "Today's Daily Special: Lasagna with Salad," every day for about 8 years now! =)  Better hurry before that special runs out!

      In the newspaper was a column advertising about a high school reunion and it said:  "$10 for singles, $20 for couples."  =D

     If you want some good deals, at least now you know where to get them! =)

Random Facts About Yours Truly

Hiya!

     I'm back!  I was going to upload pictures of my animals, but my internet isn't working right now.  I'll try to upload them later. =)  Anyway, instead I will tell you random facts about myself! (Don't lose hope yet! It may be better then you think. ;) )

      1. I am a writer. (Okay, this may have been kinda obvious by the title of my blog. hehe I have never been published, but I hope to be some day.  I have written countless poems, 1 short story [Sad, I know] and two complete novels.  The one is only 22 pages and 7 chapters, but the other is 96 pages and 19 chapters.)

      2. I love the color pink. (Any shade, pretty much on anything, except on boys pants.  Not the color for teenage boys XP)
     
      3. My favorite domestic animals are dogs, rabbits, and goats.  (All of which I personally own and love.)  My favorite wild animals are lions, eagles, and giraffes.  (All of which I don't own, but still love.)
 
      4.  I am running out of facts. (Don't worry, give me a second.)

      5.  I am homeschooled.  (Which is the most amazing thing EVER!!)

      6.  I have many best friends.  (I really cannot deem any of them "just friends" and then others "best friends" because every friend fulfills a different role.  I have "once-a-week friends," and "once-a-month friends," and "once-or-twice-a-year friends.")

      7.  I hate licorice. (I just do, no further comment)

      8.   I love, love, LOVE York Peppermint candies, 3 Musketeers candy bars, and Crunch candy bars, Skittles, and Starburst.

      9.  I like swimming, but unless in extreme situations, I can't go under water without a swim mask on.

      10.  I like every season, in it's own right.  (One of my favorite quotes about South Carolina [where I live] is the "you know all four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and Christmas."  I don't think I will ever be able to decide which season I like best.)

      11.  My favorite holiday is Christmas.  (I LOVE, LOVE Christmas music!  And the colors, and the decorations, and just the overall feel of Christmas.  Ahhh... =) )

      12.  I have straight, blond hair. (I used to have bangs, but I have brushed them aside recently.)

      13.  I love Subway, Golden Corral, and Chipotle Grill!!!!  (Chipotle Grill is my most, most, most favorite restraint ever!)

      14.  Whenever my grandparents come to our house (a couple times a year) we eat strawberry shortcake, and watch The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again.  (It has Tim Conway and Don Knotts in it, and it is SO funny!  I have watched it so many times I could probably dictate it, but I still love the family times we have!  =) )

     15.  For now, I have run out of facts.  (We will find out more about me as I continue to post.)
