Well, I'm back. Did you miss me? During my break I found some things out about myself and the world. For example:
* I apparently go on Facebook a lot more than I thought because every time I picked up my phone I was itching to click on it
* Apparently while I was gone the biggest event in the history of the world happened: National Sibling Day. (Seriously, Facebook and blogs were swamped with it! I didn't even know it existed! Haha)
* I can't go without email besides the fact that still no one really emails me. All my friends knew I was busy so I didn't get anything. Except Flylady, which I promise myself I'll read and solve all my problems one day, and political emails. Blek!
* Someone (AHEM) couldn't wait for the week to be over to text me AND found my blog so this is a shout-out to the only dude brave enough to read my blog and tell me about it. You are free to embarrass him for being on a girl's blog in the comments. I'll make him read it. XD But, newsflash, he also is taking me to a dance and paying for it, so I suppose I can't be too harsh. Sorry, dude.
This week is going to be super busy. We are going to the beach for my brother's birthday! He is turning 12!!!!!!!! Like, people, I remember waiting at the hospital for him to be born. I remember holding him, and him being 3 and asking for my help in getting jelly from the fridge now he is almost a teenager...
I'm an old person.
Goodbye.
I don't have much else to say; I'll try and post but I don't know how well I'll do. Summer has arrived; it was 92. Yes, 92 degrees. I'm sorry, my northern friends. I feel for you. As I swim. Haha. ;D

Wow!! I know, time goes so fast! And it seems like that's what little siblings are for, to make us feel old. ;) Thanks, girly!
DeleteI'm glad you're back, Jessica. I recently attempted a short media fast and found it a lot harder than I was going to be. Have a fun time with your brother's birthday!:)

Haha, yes! I posted on Facebook before starting my fast, and I would have broken if I hadn't known that people knew I should have been off! So if you ever try it, I'd suggest telling people about it. Keeps you accountable. ;)
DeleteThank you!! <3
How incredibly fun!!! What kind of a dance is it?? Haha! I think it's really cool he's reading your blog. :D :P
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that National Siblings Day was a thing either! :P Haha...yeah. I used to go on FB everyday, but now I don't even use it. :P XD

It was a formal dinner/dance thingie. lol We learned the basic steps of the waltz (another awesome thing about this guy, he can dance, like, really well. ;) and then some kids did like Footloose and such, but that ain't my kind of dancing. haha Especially in heels. XD Yah, he is pretty cool. lol
DeleteThat's okay, us none-National-Day-knowledge people stick together. ;)
